About the “Bill of Rights and Responsibilities” for Nonprofit Consumers and Consultants

As both consultants and clients in the nonprofit sector, we recognized a need for basic guidelines for what a successful consulting engagement looks like.  Our aim with this Bill of Rights and Responsibilities is to empower both nonprofit consultants and clients and raise the bar for consulting engagements by establishing a clear understanding of the essential conditions to ensure that an engagement is effective and satisfying, allows both sides to do their best work—and brings out the best in both.
